Flexwhere supports not only Windows, but also Mac.
Separate clients have been developed for both Operating Systems (OS).
Installing FlexWhere
Installing the Flexwhere application for Mac is done through the Appstore.
In the Appstore, search for FlexWhere or FlexWhere for Desktop.
After installation, the application can be opened.
If the installation is not managed by your organization, you can add the application to startup programs by going to:
System Settings -> General -> Login -> Add FlexWhere here.
Flexwhere will now automatically launch with the laptop when you log in.
Updating FlexWhere
Updating FlexWhere at Mac can go automatically when you have this set up for your laptop.
To view your settings, you can open the Appstore and then click on Appstore at the top of the taskbar and then go to Settings.
Here you can enable or disable Automatic Updates, if necessary.
If the automatic update does not happen or you have not set it up, you can update manually by navigating to the FlexWhere app in the Appstore.
Depending on your MacOS version and or device, the update may be indicated immediately or you may have to click on the application in the Appstore before “Update” appears.
The application will now update and can be opened again.
If in a previous version you have already set the application to start automatically at login these settings will be remembered and you do not need to do this again.
