The latest features with the beta switch

News The latest features with the beta switch

New features are regularly added to FlexWhere. Organisations that don‘t want to wait can turn on the new beta switch.

The beta switch ensures that organisations can quickly try out functionalities. This way we involve users at an earlier stage in the development process. When the switch is on, all users of FlexWhere in the organisation work in the beta environment.

Test FlexWhere at a quiet moment

The new beta switch doesn‘t have to be on all the time. Organisations that want to test a new functionality can turn the switch off later. This allows an ICT employee to try out the upcoming version of FlexWhere at a quiet moment. Such as during the weekend or late in the evening.

Any changes made to the beta environment are retained, even after switching back to the production version. The beta version is intended for developers but is almost ready for the production version.

The beta switch is separate from urgent improvements, such as bug fixes or security updates. These are implemented in the meantime in both the beta environment and the production environment.

The beta switch isn‘t the only thing that was added or improved during FlexWhere‘s release in late April 2020. For example, the work zone is also new and FlexWhere for Desktop has been improved. Read all release notes.
