How do I link a device to a workstation?

A device can easily be linked to a workstation. Only devices that are configured as Desktop in the Control Center can be linked. You can do this in the Control Center.

Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Sign in to the Control Centre;
  2. Select the correct floor;
  3. Find the appropriate workstation that needs to be linked;
  4. Click on the workspot;
  5. In the screen that appears, click on ‘Pair devices’;
  6. Now select the appropriate Device Name or Device ID to associate with the workstation;
  7. Click anywhere on your screen to close the workspace properties.

Note: To associate a device with a workstation, these devices must be added to the device list.

Tip: You can also use the device list to link a chosen device to a workstation. In the ‘Device’ screen, click on ‘Link device to workplace’.

Tip: If you want to associate a sensor with the workstation, select the appropriate Sensor ID.
